Matching logic
When a customer requests a quote, the system:
- Decodes the VIN/plate into make, model, year, and the NAGS part number.
- Finds invoices with the same part number; if none, falls back to same make + model + replacement type.
- Takes the most recent matching invoice's total as the base price.
- Adds the additional fee and shows the result.
Try adding a newer Mazda3 windshield invoice below and re-running the customer quote — the price will update immediately.
